Hip joint: ligament limitations

Iliofemoral (the inverted 'Y' shape) ligaments (ant/post) limit:




hyperextension and lateral rotation




Pubofemoral ligament limits:




Extension and abduction




Ischiofemoral limits:




Extension and medial rotation
